
A seafood restaurant for more than twenty years, today we are also gastronomy to offer the best Italian flavours at home as well as at the restaurant.

Where everything started
La Rava e La Fava was established in 1999 in Ivrea, where the evocative Lake Sirio framed the chef – and owner – Mauro Francesco’s creativity. He decided to dedicate his culinary art exclusively to fish dishes, preparing typical food of our tradition. Just like chef Mauro works in the kitchen, his wife Claudia takes care of welcoming clients and managing table service, counting on their parents’ collaboration as well.
So for more than twenty years the kitchen’s staff has seized the chance to personally choose fresh products from its trusted suppliers, looking back to our tradition and looking forward to innovation. This is exactly how the restaurant has succeeded throughout the years at attracting its clients, offering ever changing flavours to locals as well as to national and international tourists.




Where we continue today
Twenty-three years later the chef and his team decided to move from Lake Sirio to the heart of the city of Ivrea and downsize enough to give space to a new idea: the gastronomy. As always the protagonist is the daily supplied fresh fish, here celebrated to offer you ready-made delicacies to be tasted right at your table and to prepare off-the-menu dishes.
This new version amazed our habitual clients and attracted new ones: their enthusiasm will surely pave the way to future projects yet to come.
